I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two time unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
